Dos grandes del arte contemporáneo peruano reunidos en la misma galería. TRANS/CIS presenta una selección de obras de Jorge Eduardo Eielson (1924-2006) y Emilio Rodríguez-Larraín (1928-2015).

En palabras del curador de la muestra, Jorge Villacorta: "Rodríguez-Larraín y Eielson encontraron una razón de ser en el arte más allá de las convenciones y a través de sus obras se muestran innovadores en las profundidades del espíritu, trabajadores incansables en una renovación cultural que aún está por venir".

Villacorta también sostiene que "el día de hoy la escena local de lo contemporáneo no podría imaginarse a si misma sin la existencia de ambos: son figuras que ostentan procesos y trayectorias deslumbrantes. En el mundo de las consagraciones instantáneas que marcan la actualidad, son dos individualidades creadoras que ejemplifican integridad y entrega, audacia y sabiduría y de este modo resultan ejemplares entre los ya consagrados y se constituyen en verdaderos faros para los aspirantes".
